What is Make Music Day PDX?
It is a free-of-charge event for people who love music and the joyous sense of community it fosters. Make Music Day PDX celebrates music of all genres played by and enjoyed by people of all stripes. We join others around the world who also celebrate the Fete de la Musique, which originated in France in 1982. Make Music Day PDX serves both audience and musicians and happens in late June every year.
Our most recent Make Music Day PDX was held on Sunday, June 25 2023, at Laurelhurst, Fernhill and Khunamokwst Parks. Our next event will be in late June 2024.
